Stepping down

After much reflection, I’ve decided to step down from my role as Chair.

I became Chair of AFC Wimbledon Women over 10 years ago. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of overseeing our journey from Tier 5 to a successful, well-run team now competing in Tier 3.

Along the way, I’ve professionalised our operations, expanded our facilities and backroom staff, recruited a general manager, and established an autonomous and dedicated Women’s board. I take immense pride in what we've achieved together—through strong leadership, relentless effort, and a shared commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch. I hope I’ve made a difference.

I want to thank our players, past and present, who are the reason we are here and whose dedication to the cause and skill on the pitch has given me so many hours of enjoyment. I also want to thank the Women’s board, our Women’s and Girls management teams, and all our other incredible volunteers who’ve given so much of their time and energy. Your support has meant so much to me and I wish you lots of luck and best wishes for the future.
